Job description
Our client is hiring for an experienced Department Supervisor to oversee their 1st shift shipping department. This person will be responsible for supervising warehouse personnel as well as maintaining safety needs, machine and computer upkeep.
Basic Requirements:
Basic computer skills and ability to learn multiple computer programs.
Ability to comprehend written instructions and communicate with Operators, Trimmers, Quality Assurance, Digitizers, Proofers, Scheduler, Expediters, Material Handlers, other Supervisors, and Managers.
Other Skills/Abilities:
Problem solver, pro-active, not afraid to go above and beyond their assigned role.
Shipping, Logistics background a plus.
Supervision, Management background preferred.
Organized, team oriented, and efficient.
