Position Summary:

This is the entry-level Warehouse Worker position responsible for performing routine warehouse duties, including ordering, maintaining, and distributing materials, parts, supplies, tools, and equipment required for the Denso functions, as well as, filing central supply requests.

Duties and responsibilities:

· Receives and unpacks materials, supplies, parts, tools, and equipment; verifies articles received against packing lists and purchase orders.

· Inspects materials, supplies, tools, and equipment received for quality and quantity; stores materials received or delivers to the proper person or job site.

· Fills central supply requests.

· Uses paper documentation (picking sheet) to pull and pack orders per instructions.

· Operate a variety of warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, dollies, and related equipment; checks, fuels, and performs minor maintenance service on trucks and warehouse equipment. Advises supervisor if equipment requires repairs/maintenance.

· Assist with maintaining accurate inventory control per warehouse flow. Assist with weekly/monthly cycle counts per supervisor instructions.

· Coworkers and Supervisors to resolve various issues and problems suck as stocking new items, damaged products, and handling returns.

· Maintains a clean, safe, and unobstructed work area

· Communicates with supervisor regarding the pickup and delivery of orders.

· Performs other related duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

· Must posses’ mobility to work in a standard warehouse setting and work with and around a variety of equipment, parts, and inventory, to operate a forklift; strength, stamina, and mobility to perform medium physical work; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone.

· The job involves walking and working on hazardous surfaces

· Finger dexterity is needed to access, enter, and retrieve data using a computer keyboard or calculator

· Positions in this classification bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb to perform work

· Employees must posses the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 60 pounds and heavier weights with the proper equipment.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

· Individual must have a High School diploma or equivalent

· One year of warehousing using automated inventory procedures experience

· Ability to work in team environment

· Must be able to perform tasks

· Forklift Operator’s Certificate (optional)
