Shift / Weekly Hours:
8 hours per day / 40 hours per week

Duties & Primary Responsibilities: Warranty Administrators prepare records and submit warranty claims to the manufacturer and/or distributor. They verify the warranty criteria required by the manufacturer or distributor and process warranty claims in a timely manner for each vendor or distributor. Warranty Administrators process all warranty paperwork to ensure that they have all necessary documentation. They will also reconcile all warranty claims.

Other Roles & Functions: Warranty Administrators will arrange the return and/or replacement of warranty items. They will also continually follow up on the status of the returns or replacements, keeping an accurate accounting of transactions to include replacements and receipt of credit.

Requirements:
  • Knowledgeable of warranty claims administration
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask
  • Proficient with the use of office equipment (i.e. computer, phone, printer, copier & scanner)
  • Ability to quickly learn company computer software and navigate vendor websites

Preferred

  • Understanding of HVAC-R industry, materials and products
  • Two or more years of industry experience
  • Comfortable answering the phone and making calls on behalf of the company
  • Able to lift up to 75 lbs
