Web Conferencing Support Specialist Job at Keswick Multicare Inc
The Web Conferencing Support Specialist will be responsible for a client-driven AV/IT approach to supporting the day-to-day operation of Keswick’s conferencing systems across the campus. This position will support the development, general maintenance and ensure daily operations of classroom and conference room audio and video equipment in functional order, which include but are not limited to projectors, classroom speakers, mics, cameras, and TV’s. This position will also train staff on web conferencing systems and assist with general Desktop Support. This position will also be key in developing the Teams platform through the campus and educating the staff about features and functionality. He/she will perform related additional duties as required and assigned and assist needs of users and volunteers under direction of the Vice President of Information Services.*
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:*
- Performs onsite analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of IT problems for end users; recommends and implements corrective solutions, including repair as needed
- Plans, organizes, and conducts end-user training for Microsoft Teams and Zoom web conferencing tools
- Conducts root-cause analysis for service interruption and establish preventive measures
- Performs daily monitoring and evaluation of operation readiness of all equipment prior to start of events
- Performs weekly checks and testing of equipment and routine/scheduled audits of systems
- Assumes administrative role for Microsoft Teams and Zoom for Business
- Assists and manages all equipment used by education staff to enable virtual and hybrid programming
- Assists with Live Stream events via social media platforms
- Assist with video editing and management of cloud recordings
- Investigates and manages the implementation of new web conferencing features
- Trains staff in operation of video teleconferencing equipment and other audiovisual equipment associated with video teleconferencing services
- Works with other IS staff to troubleshoot system operation problems
- Liaises with third-party vendors and consultants
- Sets up equipment, including AV equipment, P.A. systems
- As needed, provides Desktop Support across the campus, and assist other IT staff.
Experience:
- Administration of Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, Zoom for Business
- Familiarity with deployment of Windows, Mac and iPad devices using MDM
- Third-party vendor management (Required)
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS
Microsoft Office applications and Microsoft Windows operating systems; Windows-based applications and desktop environments; clinical computer systems and HIPAA privacy requirements. Basic knowledge of local area networking; maintenance of PCs, mobile devices, laptops, operating systems, and printers. Strong knowledge of helpdesk and IT operations best practices, including knowledge of security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols.
Hardware/software troubleshooting; assisting end-users; critical thinking to isolate and evaluate problems and develop solutions. Analyzing and identifying patterns in system performance or problems; communicating clearly and effectively with internal and external contacts. Maintaining confidentiality; working harmoniously with others; customer service; serving customers at all levels; working independently with minimal supervision; making decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires coursework in information systems or a related discipline; An associate degree is required, but a bachelor’s degree is preferred. Certifications or experience may be substituted for education.
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION AND REGISTRATION:
System administration and IT certifications in Microsoft, or other network related fields (Required).
WORK ORIENTATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
1-2 years as a Web Conferencing technician supporting Microsoft Teams and Zoom for Business. Experience with MS Office products. Experience in a healthcare environment (Preferred).

Pay: $48,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
