Job Description:

Bertelsmann Printing Group-USA is one of the largest, fully automated, hardcover and softcover book manufacturers in the United States and we are expanding our operations at our Berryville, VA facility. BPG is seeking Web Press Operators to operate our existing equipment and/or our NEW state of the art ManRoland Lithoman III press starting in early 2023.

Our Web Press Operators are responsible for safety, quality, production, and maintenance on our 1 color web offset press; producing folded 16, 32 and 64 page 2-up signatures. Our Pressroom currently has 3-Manroland, 1-Timson and 2-SHM Web Presses with new equipment coming in 2023, 2024 and 2025.

Qualified individuals will have 3-5 years of experience as a lead web offset press operator with leadership capabilities. This position requires the ability to read and follow print job instructions, ink and register setting, hanging plates, blankets, trouble-shooting press issues, ability to set rollers and other mechanical settings for proper specifications.
