Weekend Grounds Crew Member Job at Wildwood Golf Course
At Wildwood Golf Course, we aim to create the best possible playing conditions and provide outstanding customer service to all of our guests. We are looking for a Weekend Grounds Crew Member to assist with daily course setup. This is a great opportunity to work alongside an amazing team to help us maintain the golf course grounds and landscaping. Pay starts at $18 p/h with golf privileges.
Responsibilities Include:
- Working as a team, ensures that the golf course is set up to provide the best playing conditions for guests.
- Conducts mowing, rakes bunkers, cuts cups, blows leaves & debris, repairs and maintains greens & tees, and other course set up duties.
- Operates equipment such as mowers, tractors, and handheld tools.
- Opportunities to assist with other projects as directed.
To Qualify:
- Ability to work outside (in Oregon weather), performing physical labor for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs regularly, walk, bend, stand upright, and maneuver heavy equipment for most of the work shift.
- Ability to safely and efficiently operate motorized equipment, such as mowers, tractors and other golf maintenance equipment.
- Prior knowledge/experience in golf course maintenance is preferred, but not required.
Schedule:
This is a part time position. This role will primarily work weekend mornings between the hours of 5am to 9am. .
