Welder Job at Industrial Process Equipment
An industrial, utility, and mining equipment manufacturer in Poca, WV is currently looking to hire a welder.
This position is the opportunity to apply your skills for a company that makes custom-fabricated material handling equipment. Our products are not “cookie-cutter” products. Each project requires imagination and determination. The successful candidate for this position must possess the ability to make decisions on projects that are not only the best option for the client but most importantly the safest and most cost-effective solution for all parties involved. Industriasl Process Equipment has an immediate opening for Welder. We will consider all levels of experience.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Fabricates parts by using equipment to clean, prepare, cut, burn, and weld pieces; setting up and measuring assemblies.
- Fabricates parts according to blue prints and drawings.
- MIG steel and stainless steel.
- Collaborates with engineers, production personnel, maintenance or others to resolve machining problems.
Qualifications and Skills
- Ability to use weld fillet gauges to ensure proper weld size and interpret tolerances.
- Be able to read and interpret blueprints.
- Ability to perform simple shop math, convert decimals to fractional equivalents.
- Ability to focus attention on details.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time with the ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
