        General Description
       
 
       
        This position works to plan and provide population-level trainings, prevention programs, and awareness events to increase knowledge of campus and community resources, improve wellbeing (physical, mental, emotional), improve resiliency, and improve self-efficacy (social, emotional, academic).
       
 
      
        Essential Job Duties
       
 
       
         1) Work with the Counseling Services (CS) Prevention and Outreach team to develop a comprehensive prevention and outreach strategy.
         
2) Develop and implement outreach events for the campus community at large, as well as special populations.
3) Lead prevention programs, educational workshops, presentations in collaboration with and as assigned by supervisor.
4) Create materials for the campus community to increase knowledge and awareness of resources and mental health concerns affecting college students. Including, but not limited to social media, digital, and print content.
5) Educate and facilitate access to on-campus and off-campus resources.
6) Provide administrative and office support as needed and directed.
7) Other duties as the Senior Case Manager and Director.

        Education and Experience
       
 
       
        Bachelor’s Degree and currently enrolled in a graduate program
       
 
      
        Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
       
 
       - Basic understanding of college mental health and human/college student development.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively deliver presentations in front of a large group.
- Ability to be detail-oriented and work with a high degree of accuracy.
- Demonstrate a high degree of integrity, respect, and commitment to diversity and tolerance.
- Excellent organizational skills and flexibility.
- Maintain behavior consistent with being a role model to the UM community.
- Ability to maintain a strict level of confidentiality in performing duties.
- Capable of learning and effectively use other software platforms utilized by the department.
- Must be self-directed and able to complete projects with limited supervision.
- Ability to work as a contributing member of the CS team
