Warehouse Services, Inc is currently seeking a West Coast Quality and Inventory Manager for its distribution center located in San Bernardino, CA. This position will also asist 2 of its other west coast operations in Reno, NV and Portland, OR.

West Coast Quality and Inventory Manager

Under appropriate supervision with latitude for independent judgment, the Quality/Inventory Manager reports to the QA/IC Specialist and is responsible for the following. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Monitor, analyze, measure, and assist in the Portland, Reno, and San Bernardino operations

· Ensure and encourage safe, secure, and professional work conditions

· Communicate daily with DC personnel and management

· Recognize improvement, achievements, and progress

· Conduct and interface in meetings with associates

· Participate in performance reviews and conduct disciplinary actions as necessary

· Implement, monitor, and maintain the Quality Management System

· Assist in development of the Quality Management System

· Monitor and report all key indicators on a weekly basis

· Perform root cause problem solving and corrective action

· Determine and implement continual improvements

· Perform process audits and monitor the performance of the sites

· Conduct internal audits at the sites

· Assist in external supplier audits and ISO 9001 audits

· Communicate internally with the site management teams

· Communicate with our clients and their customers

· Monitor and assist with BLR and non-conforming process performance

· Monitor and assist with inventory process performance including FSA/building layouts

· Monitor and assist with document management

· Participate in weekly dashboard and action item review with each site

· Complete required internal and external daily/weekly/monthly forms, reporting and dashboards

· Interface internally, with the client, their customers, and the carriers

· Extensive travel may be required and some travel on short notice.

· Other duties assigned by the QA/IC Specialist and Assistant Director

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· Five years of supervisory experience

· Experience in quality, inventory, and WMS processes

· Strong interpersonal skills in regards to interface with employees and client

· A strong commitment to safety, care, and concerns of our employees

· Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat

· Forklift certified or able to obtain certification

· Must be able to lift 55 lbs.

· Ability to travel, with little notice if required. Travel could be up to 25% of the time.

Pay: $65,547.00 - $90,446.00 per year
