Windows System Administrator Job at Qualis Corporation
Qualis Corporation is seeking an experienced Windows System Administrator to provide critical support to the MDA's Advanced Research Center in Huntsville, AL. The selected candidate will be a team player that works well with others, is willing to learn new things and share existing knowledge with others, is adaptable to changing requirements, self-motivated, a good communicator, and has exceptional troubleshooting skills.
Essential Functions:
- Monitor network capacity and performance, and firewall connectivity
- Diagnose and resolve network problems
- Correct vulnerabilities in assigned systems and respond to identified problems
- Monitor and verify the integrity of system backups and restore files as needed
- Perform high-level, day-to-day operational maintenance, support, and upgrades for complex operating systems, workstations and servers.
Qualifications:
- Must have a B.S. or B.A. in a related field
- Must have a certification in accordance with DoD Instruction 8570.01M
- Must hold an active DoD Secret security clearance
- Certification in a related Operating System is preferred
- Experience preferred in the following areas:
- Windows Active Directory
- Windows Domain administration
- Group Policy Objects (GPOs) and Organizations Units (OUs)
- PowerShell scripts
- RSA
- DISA STIGs
