Winery Worker Job at The Crews Nest Boat Club and Resort
The Put-in-Bay Winery is currently seeking individuals for our 2023 Summer Season. This is an ideal job for college students, seasonal workers, or anyone else looking for an incredible summer experience. Our Winery is located on Put-in-Bay island in Ohio. It is one of the top tourist destinations in Ohio. It's approximately 3 miles in length and hosts over 40 bars and restaurants. Affordable Housing is provided at a price of $75 per week. Must be 19 years of age. No previous wine knowledge required. Our season starts in April and runs into late October. Requirements
- Must be willing to relocate or reliably commute to Put-in-Bay, OH
- Must be at least 19 years of age
- Must be able to lift 50+
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be a team player
- Must possess a positive attitude
- Must be hardworking
- Previous Customer Service experience is a plus
- Previous Food and Beverage Experience is a plus
- Previous Sales experience is a plus
- Experience in high volume or fast paced environments is a plus
Job Duties
- Assist customers in selecting wines
- Sell bottles, glasses, and flights of wine
- Restock Coolers
- Bus tables
- Give wine tasting tours
- Maintaine a clean working environment
- Smile, have fun, and make friends
