Responsibilities include service and repair and troubleshooting of Plasser American Railroad Maintenance machines including but not limited to ballast cleaners, undercutters, regulators, and tampers.

• Mechanical ability and knowledge of heavy equipment and is absolutely required.
• Hydraulic, Pneumatic, and 24V Electrical knowledge with the ability to read schematics is required.
• PLC knowledge is desirable but not required.
• Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Green Screen)
• Strong communicator across multiple functions
• Any combination of Railroad experience is highly desirable.
• 75% travel in North America is required for this position. You will spend a lot of time away from home.
• Must possess valid commercial driver's license of at least a Class C.
• Must be able to pass background check, physical and drug screen.
• Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions.

Must be able to obtain a US passport as international travel (Canada/Mexico) is required.
