Our client, an established pharmaceutical company is in search of a Writer/Story teller to join their team on a contract.
Writer/Storyteller
Perfect full-time contractor role for someone with a recent journalism degree and 1-2 years of writing experience. Opportunity to work as part of a large team, and learn corporate communications, storytelling, photojournalism and visual literacy from a high performing, collaborative communications team.
Writer will work with our Story Studio team of writers, handling story assignments:
- interviewing internal and external subject matter experts
- drafting compelling corporate stories, sidebars and listicles
- proofreading stories and other content to meet AP Style and company standards
- collaborating to create story ideas
- working with photographers and designers
- updating editorial calendar
Requirements:
- Four-year degree in Journalism and/or Communications
- 1-2 years of writing experience with good writing samples
- Working knowledge of AP Style
- Creative and flexible thinker, ideally with storytelling experience
- Ability to work with a wide range of people across the globe.
Pay: $55-$60 an hour
