Yard Laborer Job at Waste Connections
El Dorado Disposal, a Waste Connections company, is looking for a safety conscious Yard Laborer to join our team in Placerville, CA!
The schedule for this position will be Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm. Starting pay will be $20/hour.
Responsibilities Include:
- Yard and facility maintenance including debris and oil spot clean up
- Manual labor including landscaping and fence line maintenance
- Pressure washing and storage management of carts
- Picking up and sweeping wind blown trash
- Directing customers on where to go
- Various utility tasks as needed
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of work experience. Preferably in a laborer type role
- The ability to stand outside throughout a 8 hr shift
- The ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Ability and will to work in all weather conditions
- Experience running equipment is a plus (forklift, loader or baler)
- Must pass drug screen and pre-employment background check.
