Zabbix Monitoring Engineer Job at Scicom Infrastructure Services
Monitoring plays a crucial role for our clients by ensuring that our business-critical infrastructure and applications are available and performant. In this role you will initially provide an assessment of our client's monitoring environment to see where we can help to maintain and improve their tools, and to implement new monitoring tools for critical applications.
What will you do?
- Provide an assessment of the client's monitoring environment including Zabbix. Determine how they can get the most benefit from the tool and where they can get the most value from it.
- Application and infrastructure monitoring configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Installation, configuration, maintenance, and documentation for Zabbix
- Aid in selection, testing and deployment of new tools and rationalization/consolidation efforts
- Help train people in different functional areas on best practices for leveraging monitoring
Education
- Combined minimum of 8 years higher education and/or work experience in monitoring tool support and management.
- Experience with enterprise monitoring solutions
- Zabbix experience required
- Prior experience in a highly regulated environment is a plus
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Advanced knowledge of monitoring/observability software
