ELEMENTARY SUMMER SCHOOL PRINCIPAL – One Position
Salary: $6,082.40 (20 Days) + $1,800 set-up
Summer School Dates: June 20 – July 14; (teacher planning days June 14 & 15)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the implementation of the Elementary Summer School Program, which includes pre-planning,
preparation, hiring and assigning staff; selection of instructional materials; assessment, including pre- and post-testing in
intervention classes; student assignments; developing a schedule including classes in Special Education and core
academic classes; and daily supervision, including student discipline, school safety, special education, SDC preschool
and direct emergency procedures; other duties as assigned.

Salary: $5,601.14 (20 Days)
Summer School Dates: June 20 – July 14; (teacher planning days June 14 & 15)

Responsible for assisting the Summer School Principal in the implementation of the Elementary Summer School
Program.

(K-8) SUMMER SCHOOL ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL - SPECIAL EDUCATION – One Position*
Salary: $5,601.14 (20 Days)
Summer School Dates: June 20 – July 14; (teacher planning days June 14 & 15)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for assisting the Summer School Principals in the set-up and implementation of the elementary and middle
school special education extended school year programs.

(K-8) SUMMER SCHOOL COUNSELOR - – One Position*
Salary: $4,849.60 (20 Days)
Summer School Dates: June 20 – July 14; (teacher planning days June 14 & 15)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for assisting the Summer School Principals. Directly support student needs during the elementary and
middle school summer school programs. This position is open to both Wellness Counselors and Guidance Counselors.

NOTE: July 4 is an unpaid holiday.
