Job Title: Material Handler
Shift: Sun-Thurs 10pm-6:30am
Pay: $19.44/hr (Includes 8% Shift Differential)
Location: Frazeysburg, OH
Job Summary:
Ridge Corporation is seeking an experienced forklift operator for a fulltime employment opportunity. The chosen candidate must have experience with material handling and general warehouse practices. Duties will include handling all types of material coming into and going out of the manufacturing plant; ensuring that materials are placed in their proper location; gathering and staging material for production lines; moving finished goods from production to appropriate location or loading for shipment. Previous work experience in a fast paced industrial environment is required. The person selected will be working directly with production, purchasing, shipping, and receiving personnel.
Requirements:
High school or college graduate
Previous work experience in a fast paced industrial environment
Familiarity with cycle counts, FIFO, physical inventories, and receiving inspections
Forklift experience: loading and unloading trucks;
Experience loading and unloading materials from pallet racking
Ability to manage multiple projects and to independently troubleshoot
Excellent time management and communication skills
Willingness to work overtime when needed
Ability to work both independently and with a team
Beneficial Skills:
Microsoft Office experience: Outlook and Excel
Experience with an inventory management system including use of hand scanners
Experience with large capacity forklifts
Crane experience helpful but not required
Familiarity with OSHA Standards
Workplace Experience:
3 years minimum
