Job Title: Account Clerk II – City of Virginia Beach Public Utilities Req. #38583 – Stormwater Division
Job location: 2809 S. Lynnhaven Rd Virginia Beach, VA 23452
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00AM – 5:00PM
Pay rate: $16.08/hour
Job Duties:
· Duties include making customer queries by phone, fax, and email.
· Researching queries that result in errors.
· Updating ownership on accounts and noting accounts affected by foreclosure sales.
· Removing overbilled charges on accounts.
· Researching unpaid stormwater charges.
· One of the main functions of the Stormwater section is to keep accounts current and ensure proper billing of accounts when changes are made as a result foreclosures, sales, and ownership changes.
Requirements:
· Attention to detail.
· Customer Service Oriented.
· MS Office experience.
· Reliable transportation.
