Job Description: Performs various clerical and routine tasks, to include A/P & A/R functions, data entry, and office administrative duties.
Job Responsibilities:
- Review hotel credit cards daily as well as chargebacks
- Review house accounts for all hotels and report discrepancies
- Oversee the activities of the Accounts Receivable/Payable
- Upload, Input and verify invoicing and statements.
- Monitor daily sales and occupancy tax audits
- Perform administrative tasks, such as answering phones, checking mail, bank deposits, check runs, travel agent commissions etc. .
Job Requirements:
- Minimum High school diploma or GED with at least 2+ years experience as an accounting clerk or Hotel front office and/or night audit experience.
- Must have Hospitality-Hotel experience,
- Strong work ethic and a desire to succeed
- Ability to perform simple accounting procedures
- Basic data entry
- Ability to analyze and solve problems
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft excel and word a must
- Be self motivated and able to work independently
- Clean background check, and reliable transportation a must
