We have an immediate opening for an (Accounting Specialist, Financial Specialist, or Sr. Accounting Analyst) to join our team. This role will be responsible for working with our customers and our supplier partners, ensuring that invoices are correct, payments are received and made correctly and timely and there is transparency to cash flow from same. In addition, this role will assist across the finance and accounting functions with support to Financial Planning and Analysis, monthly financial closings, and managing deferred revenue. About the role:
Your primary responsibility will be managing invoicing and collections, supplier partner payments, and assorted other financial transactions. As an individual contributor, you must be a self-starter with a broad range of knowledge plus you will have the support of the Company’s outsourced accounting firm, the Chief of Staff, and the CFO. You will work directly with our internal teams, vendors, and clients, managing moving pieces to deliver results successfully. We are a rapidly growing team, and you will have direct involvement in that development and success.
Core Responsibilities:
- Pay invoices by verifying transaction information, scheduling, preparing disbursements, and obtaining payment authorization
- Obtain revenue by verifying transaction information, computing charges, and refunds, and preparing and sending invoices
- Collect revenue by reminding delinquent accounts and notifying customers of insufficient payments
- Review all internal transactions within the company credit card system to ensure compliance with our spending policy

What we would like to see:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or a related field
- Familiarity with accounting systems such as NetSuite or QuickBooks
- Excellent computer skills, including high proficiency in Microsoft Office (both online and in the app), especially in Excel
- 3+ years of applicable experience in Accounts payable and Accounts Receivable
