How You Will Contribute

In the Accounts Payable Clerk position you will work with other members of the accounting team to manage and process invoices. You will work closely with our knowledgeable Property Team members and professional AP team.

Things You Need

• The Individual will maintain vendor relations and be involved in all aspects of day-to-day account payable functions which may include but are not limited to verifying invoices/expense reports/ petty cash, entering data into accounts payable system, processing regular check runs, and responding to vendor inquires
• Yardi and/or Payscan experience preferred
• Maintain vendor relations, ensuring vendor accounts are current
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies on a timely basis
• Review invoices above designated threshold and post
• Supports multi-family accounting team
• Issues stop-payments
• Maintains historical records by scanning and uploading document

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline preferred

Experience

Two plus years of experience in accounts payable

Skills

• Ability to use Microsoft productivity software such as Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Must have experience using Yardi software
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong organizational ability
• Effective corporate communications skills
• Ability to consistently meet all deadlines
