Reporting to the Head of Finance, the AR Specialist will prepare and distribute invoices, verifying that they comply with organizational policies and accurately reflect charges incurred.

You will:

• Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording AR data into NetSuite.
• Prepare bills, invoices, and bank deposits and perform bank runs as needed.
• Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
• Verify discrepancies and resolve clients' billing issues and resolve undeposited funds posting.
• Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients.
• Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status.
• Maintain customer records by filing necessary accounting documents.
• Perform Ad-Hoc tasks as needed.
  

• Oracle NetSuite experience is a plus. Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and data management skills.
• Basic understanding of accounts receivable and general accounting procedures.
• Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software.
• Strong communication abilities, negotiation skills, and customer service orientation.
• Intermediate to advanced 10-key and data entry skills.
• Proficiency in English and fluency in Mandarin are necessary as this person will be working with the accounting team in China.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently with a team.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years working in accounts receivable or general accounting.
