Position: Kettering Health - RN (Registered Nurse) - Acute Internal Medicine
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $45,000 Sign-On Bonus
Shift: Days and Nights available
Location: Soin Medical Center - Beavercreek, OH
Unit Details: This is a brand new, fast paced, 30 bed unit. This unit sees a variety of conditions including fall patients, strokes, COPD, GI, cardiac, pulmonary, alcohol withdrawl and altered mental states.Patients typically come from PACU, OR, direct admission, or sometimes transfers from other units. The unit has state of the art electronic communication boards instead of white board inside the room and as patient dashboards outside of the room. All of the information from Epic filters into those communication systems. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5. There are 2 NAs on shift for every 15 patients. Nurses self schedule within a 6-week block, every third weekend rotation and every other holiday. Orientation is 4-6 weeks for experienced nurses and 8-12 weeks for new grads.
Must Haves:
- RN License
- Basic Life Support
- RN Degree from an Accredited School OR 1 Year of Acute Care Experience
