Primary Purpose/Function:
Responsible for assisting administration, office staff and teachers with a variety of tasks. Provides assistance support requiring a high degree of organization, awareness, tact, creativity, and initiative in completing projects.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Provides courteous, responsive, and accurate information to the students, families, administration, and staff.
- Plans, organizes, and implements special projects as needed for admistration and teachers, such as:
- Planning and organization of field trips
- Planning and organization of sports and after school clubs/activities
- Fundraisers
- Liason between outside companies/organizations and administration (i.e. PTO, Photo Company, Champions, Girl Scouts, Outside Clubs/Organizations, etc.)
- Completes billing and follow up with families using Infinite Campus (i.e. billing for clubs, electives, sports, etc.).
- Create and maintain a "student store" with spirit wear.
- May perform a variety of basic clerical functions in support teachers, staff, and/or administrators, (i.e., typing, filing, data entry, copying, report processing, large mailings, etc.).
- Compose and type emails, newsletters, and other correspondence in collaboration with administration.
- Frequent communication with all stakeholders. Provides courteous, responsive, and accurate information to the students, families, administration, and staff.
- Frequently collaborates with office staff and registrar.
- Back up to registrar and front office staff.
- Assist in duties (i.e. lunch/recess duty) as needed.
- Performs other tasks related to the position, as assigned.
POSITION EXPECTATIONS:
Education and/or Experience:
- High school graduation or another equivalent, (i.e., GED, college, foreign equivalency, etc.) required
Skills and Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Infinite Campus.
- Ability to establish knowledge of CASLV procedures, general office procedures, business machines, computers, and word processing.
- Knowledge of personal computers and software applications, which includes word-processing, databases, and spreadsheets.
- Ability to plan, organize, and set priorities on work and to work independently without immediate supervision.
- Ability to maintain the confidentiality of information.
- Ability to effectively communicate with persons of diverse cultural, educational, and economic backgrounds.
- Ability to apply established procedures to work activities.
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with fellow employees and all other stakeholders.
- Ability to concentrate on the accuracy of details.
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, meet deadlines, and shift suddenly to new tasks as priorities change.
- Ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to work flexible hours or shifts (occasional nights, weekends, and some work from home)
- Possess physical and mental stamina commensurate with the responsibilities of the position.
- Ability to meet predetermined deadlines and flexibility in shifting to new tasks when priorities change.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Strength: Sedentary/light - exert force to 10 lbs., occasionally.
Physical Demands: Frequent sitting, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, climbing, crouching, reaching, handling, and repetitive fine motor activities. Mobility to work in a typical office setting and use standard office equipment. Stamina to remain seated and maintain concentration for an extended period of time. Hearing and speech to communicate in person, via video conference and computers, or over the telephone. Vision: Frequent near and far acuity, and color vision. Vision to read printed and online materials, or monitoring devices.
Environmental Conditions: Climate-controlled office setting with temperatures ranging from mild to moderate cold/heat. Exposure to weather with temperatures ranging from mild/moderate to extreme cold/heat.
Hazards: Furniture, playground/office equipment, communicable diseases, chemicals (as related to specific assignment), and power/hand-operated equipment and machinery (as related to specific assignment).
