What You’ll Do: Enterprise Bank is currently seeking to hire a Special Assets Appraisal Assistant provides support to the Appraisal Department within Special Assets. This individual is responsible for the preparation of appraisal and environmental report requests and conducting research on property titles. The Special Assets Assistant will also assist in the ordering and tracking of property inspections and preparation of various reports. Essential functions and responsibilities include:

  • Reviews requests from the lending staff for real estate appraisals and requests bids from approved vendors; research cost and turnaround time for appraisals and provides quotes to lenders; prepares and issues Appraisal Engagement letter to the chosen appraiser; maintains appraisal status tracking.
  • Research property types with town or other available records including plans provided by the borrower or other information in the Bank’s files, the nature of the appraisal, and environmental reviews. Ensures efficient timing from the receipt of application to ordering.
  • Tracks residential appraisals for commercial loans for compliance with Regulation B valuation rule.
  • Assists with the uploading of commercial appraisals on closed loans to AccuAccount for use by examiners and other outside loan reviewers.

Requirements: Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; and/or two to four years of related experience and/or training.
