Overview

This diverse role is responsible for managing new product and all general supply inventories, tracking and entering all retail sales and logistics data, coordinating store build outs/special projects/on-site vendors, providing administrative support to DGR operations team and providing level one support/training for point of sale systems and related equipment.

THE POSITION

This position's key responsibilities include:
  • Provides level one support for retail point of sales and production software and related equipment.
  • Provides positive and professional working relationship with peers, staff, and outside vendors to ensure effective operation of E-commerce.
  • Purchases goods and services according to the company's policies and procedures.
  • Evaluates vendors based on price, reliability, capability, and previous transaction history.
  • Ensures that purchasing documents are complete and accurate and include appropriate and reasonable terms and conditions.
  • Negotiates contracts with vendors for optimal cost and delivery times
ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Associates Degree in business or computer technology related fields (preferred but not required)
  • Minimum of two year experience in administrative assistance, basic computer/technical support, inventory purchasing and control (or roles that together reflect competence in the diverse skill sets needed for this role)
  • Prior experience working with point of sale systems and generating reports
  • Must have strong computer skills with Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel, Word and Outlook).
  • Must possess a valid driver's license, appropriate insurance coverage, and a privately owned reliable means of transportation to travel throughout Goodwill of Western New York territory to visit stores and locations on a regular and recurring basis.
  • Performs other duties as requested.
