About The Role: Payroll Administrator Bilingual (Watkins, CO)

The Payroll Administrator is responsible for monitoring all tasks necessary to accomplish payroll processing activities for Canadian weekly payroll for approximately 300 hourly employees. The Administrator will provide timely quality customer service for employees within the weekly payroll.

What you will be doing

Safety, Health & Environment

  • Compliance with Safety Charter and immediate reporting of any accidents, injuries or incidents.
  • Regular participation in safety meetings.


Payroll Processing

  • Input computation of pay according to company policy.
  • Audit payroll transmittal for accuracy for final submission.
  • Facilitate direct deposit changes and verification of new accounts.
  • Directly review, audit and control the flow of information to various areas as required including GL, HR, payroll, and tax interfaces for hourly payroll processing.
  • Input new hires, terminations, promotions, rate changes, garnishments, child support orders, tax withholding changes, relocation expenses, bonuses and miscellaneous other updates into file for upload into ADP system.


Data Integrity

  • Ensure integrity of data in payroll system and employee files.
  • Reviews personnel records to determine names, rate of pay, and job titles of newly hired employees, and changes in wage rates and job titles of employees on payroll.

Customer Service

  • Establish mechanisms to enhance and monitor customer service.
  • Utilize HR ticketing system to respond to and resolve employee and manager queries.

  • ADP – Pay at Work and EZ Labor Manager. Comprehensive Outsourced Service.
  • Service Now ticketing system
  • Outlook 365

  • Typical office work setting.
  • Required activities include sitting, walking, reaching, bending, frequent use of hands

Your qualifications

  • Payroll processing experience – minimum 1 year.
  • Canadian payroll processing helpful but not required.
  • Ability to problem solve - Essential
  • Accuracy, time management, organization and communication skills.
  • Strong human relations and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with interruptions and meet required deadlines.

Compensation Range

  • Hourly Rate Range $25-33

(Salary to be determined by the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
