We are hiring compassionate and experienced, Client Support Specialists to work with our adult clients at The Camp Recovery Center in Scotts Valley. This is a key role whose primary goal is to provide a safe, supportive, nurturing environment for our clients while they are in treatment for substance use disorder. The Camp Recovery Center operates a 74-bed Residential Treatment Center providing services to adults and adolescents, two Intensive Outpatient programs, and PHP.

AVAILABLE POSITIONS, SHIFTS AND HOURS

Full Time or Part Time positions are available

• Shifts are 8-hours, are overtime eligible
• Overnight shifts receive a $3 differential

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE CLIENT SUPPORT SPECIALIST:

• Assist with the completion of client admission and discharge.
• Monitor physical and emotional well-being of clients and report unusual behavior or physical ailments to appropriate staff.
• Prepare and maintain records of progress and services performed.
• Observe client self-administration of medications, following instructions from physicians, other prescribing medical professionals.
• Collaborate with other staff in working with the population of the facility to treat, rehabilitate and return clients to the community.

EDUCATION AND CREDENTIALLING REQUIREMENTS:

• Education - High School Graduate or Equivalent
• Experience - Knowledge or experience working with clients who are chemically dependent preferred
• Certifications - RADT_i, or EMT preferred
• Licenses - Current Driver's License
• Special Requirements - Knowledge of 12 Step Recovery

Hourly compensation is established as "DOE" contingent on years of experience, credential/licensure, and education.
