Bricks4Kidz is hiring!

Do you enjoy working with children? We're looking for part-time instructors who want to engage with children and help them learn, build and thrive - all with LEGO® !

We're looking for a creative, dynamic, energetic instructor to bring our great program (of Lego-building) to kids during after school hours. Other opportunities may come up during Spring break and summer, too!

All training is provided!

These classes range from 60 min - 75 min in length and take place between the hours of 2:30 pm - 4:30 pm.

Qualifications:

• Be available between the hours of 2:00 pm-4:30 pm
• Enjoy working with groups of 10 - 20 students
• Enjoy working with children ages 5-10
• Have reliable transportation
• Be on time and have an excellent work ethic
• Be able to clear a background check

• Have great organization skills
• Be assertive, fun-loving and able to lead large groups of kids with kindness, patience, grace and humor
• Be computer savvy and able to communicate easily and frequently via email and text

The Core Duties:

• Interact with and supervise school-age children in individual and group settings to broaden their learning experiences
• Create and actively promote a comfortable and welcoming environment
• Be a role model to children and others by maintaining a positive attitude

The Essentials:

• MUST love working with children!
• High School Diploma or GED; Associate Degree preferred
• Valid and appropriate California Driver License
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to multi-task
• Positive, upbeat and enthusiastic about working
• Cleared Background Check (Fingerprints, Child Abuse Index Check and Medical/TB exam)

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday (2:30pm-4:30pm)

Any offer of employment will be subject to the acceptance and execution of a Confidentiality and Non‐Compete Agreement.
