Location: Denver, Colorado

Scholars Unlimited is a non-profit organization that provides high-quality, comprehensive after-school, and summer learning programs to elementary school children in Denver, Aurora, Westminster, and Sheridan public schools. THE POSITION FUNCTION:

Under the direction of the Associate Program Director, and in partnership with program staff, the Multi-Site Managers will provide leadership, oversee operations, and ensure program quality at three to six of Scholars Unlimited’s site-based comprehensive out-of-school-time programs at assigned public elementary schools. Key activities include coordinating programs and activities,
supervising and coaching staff at program sites. Growth and learning are what we are about, and we envision a good fit for this role being someone who brings excellent skills and enthusiasm, along with the drive to continue to gain expertise in the various aspects of the position. This is NOT a remote position. Employee will work at our Denver office in the morning and our school sites in the afternoon.

Responsibilities:

Program support:

● Be on-site every day during after-school programming (typically 2 - 6 pm).
● Substitute on-site as needed.
● Ability to be qualified as a child care program director, which includes educational experience
with education, child development, and/or recreation management.
● Coordinate with the program team on supply needs and supplies.
● Support Program Management Team with paperwork and other administration requests.
● Support in the organization and distribution of program supplies.
● Maintain warehouse area.
● Help design/plan/implement program components.

Organization Support

● Cross-train within the organization and lend support as needed.

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

Experience/Skills

● Program management and process improvement skills, including the ability to plan, specify tasks, supervise staff, problem solve, identify resources and implement activities.
● Knowledge, experience and expertise in youth development, behavior management, enrichment programs, tutoring and family engagement.
● Knowledge and experience working with the greater Denver metro area community.
● Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal and strong interpersonal skills.
● Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate and thorough records.
● Ability to follow protocol and adhere to program and external procedures.
● Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
● Ability to be qualified as a child care program director, which includes educational
● experience with education, child development and/or recreation management.
● Strong computer skills (Office and data entry skills).

Education: BA or BS Degree preferred.

COMPENSATION: $50,000 /year

As a member of the Scholars Unlimited team, in addition to your salary, you qualify for a generous PTO policy that includes paid time off between December 25th and January 1st. In addition, we believe in the health and well-being of our team and provide 2 wellness days per year. You can choose between three comprehensive health plans and dental and vision coverage. We also offer an
allowance per month to cover plan premiums. Scholars Unlimited also provides company-sponsored short and long-term disability coverage, as well as life insurance.
