POSITION SUMMARY:
Support the development, coordination, execution, and documentation of all aspects of Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) training support, with a focus on the training and instruction of EOD operators in the Military Air Operations area of expertise.
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIRED:

  • The SME support shall have a minimum of five years of operational EOD, Naval Special Warfare, or Special Operations forces experience. Must be a qualified MFF and Static Line Jump Master, Air Ops Trainer/Examiner, Drop Zone Safety Officer, HRST/Cast Master Instructor.
  • Must possess a USPA D license with Coach, Accelerated Free-Fall and Tandem instructor ratings, Coach Examiner, Accelerated Free-Fall Evaluator.
  • Must be a first class swimmer
  • Maintain certification in First Aid, to include adult-level Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation IAW standards of the American Heart Association.
  • Possess the knowledge and skill required to safely prepare, train and execute military static line parachute insertion of personnel and equipment.
  • Possess the knowledge and skill required to safely prepare, train and execute Helicopter Rope Suspension Techniques (HRST) insertion/ extraction techniques.
  • Possess a thorough knowledge of packing procedures for in-service parachute systems and equipment delivery systems
  • Possess the knowledge and skill required to safely prepare, use, inspect, and repair critical life support equipment, parachute systems, accessory mechanical equipment, and other components.
  • Possess the knowledge and skill required to safely train students regarding aerodynamics as applied to ram-air parachutes and parachute handling and performance characteristics and the ability to teach those skills.
  • Possess the knowledge and skill required to safely prepare, train and execute evaluate standard and non-standard parachute systems.
  • Possess the knowledge and skill required to safely prepare, train and execute aerial video/still cameraman duties.
  • Conduct curriculum maintenance in accordance with Learning Standards Office directives.
  • Knowledge and experience in supporting “multi-divisional” complex training schedules to accommodate customer training needs;
  • Knowledge and experience in providing material solution recommendations to EOD Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTP);
  • Knowledge and experience in communicating with senior government officials regarding program status, milestones, obstacles, etc.
  • Secret Clearance eligibility is required (must provide proof within 30 days of contract award, that clearance process is available or has been initiated).
  • Have Honorable Active Duty military experience as recorded on a DD-214.

Physical and Environmental Requirements:
Individual tasks may involve prolong standing or sitting. All tasks require a portion of work to be performed in outdoor field conditions and/or in an office/classroom environments. Contractor personnel must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Pay range: $75,000-$95,000 per year
