Position Summary:
The Analyst, Consulting & Valuation will be responsible for researching and delivering valuable insights utilizing syndicated and proprietary research resources, valuation tools, and data analysis. The role will focus on developing meaningful data insights stories for the sales team and clients, providing actionable insights and focused narratives to drive sales.
The Analyst, Consulting & Valuation will support Playfly Premier across multiple divisions, including Playfly Sports Properties, Partnership Development, CSL Esports Teams, and Home Team Sports linear and digital properties. Candidates must have experience using data sources to develop actionable insights and effective storytelling on behalf of internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
  • Establish a deep understanding of the Sponsorship landscape across the sports & entertainment landscape
  • Perform detailed research assignments in areas including, but not limited to, property deep-dives, brand & category research, industry & asset trends, activation case studies, sponsorship deals analysis, etc.
  • Translate findings into an easy-to-digest and compelling manner in client deliverables and serve as an authority figure on the information when sharing with sales team and clients
  • Utilize syndicated and proprietary data resources to develop actionable insights and effective storytelling on behalf of the sales team and clients.
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders regarding project requirements, interpretation of data, and the development of recommendations based on findings
  • Develop a strong understanding of Playfly Premier’s propriety valuation methodology and processes to build strategies and solutions for clients
  • Employ a strong sense of organization to manage tasks across multiple projects at once and participate in cross-departmental sharing of best practices and collaboration
  • Work closely with your manager and collaborate with your team on data strategies, critical thinking, and problem solving
  • Write deliverables, reports, proposals and other documents with extraordinary attention to detail, consistency, spelling and grammar
  • Identify areas of opportunity for new processes and workflow for more efficiencies within the department.
  • Effectively communicate difficult concepts to program stakeholders and modify personal approach and style to reflect changing circumstances.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1+ year(s) of relevant work experience in the sponsorship industry, valuation industry, or brand activation sector
  • Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Finance, Statistics, Marketing, Economics, Market Research, or related field
  • Experience with syndicated research and media sources, including Nielsen (National/Local TV, Scarborough), YouGov, SponsorUnited, SBJ Atlas, etc.
  • Possess naturally curious mindset, enthusiasm working with data, strong adaptability, and sense of accountability
  • Expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, including use of charting functionality, formula writing, logic statements, pivot tables, index/lookups, and VBA
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to simplify data and complex ideas into digestible takeaways for internal and external stakeholders
  • Knowledge of the US sports and entertainment sponsorship landscape
  • Must be a team player and able to foster excellent internal and external working relationships.
Playfly Sports is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Compensation includes salary, incentive targets and company benefits.

The pay range for this role is $55,000 to $60,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
