Assistant Controller Job at Pak-Rite Industries
Position Summary: The Assistant Controller is responsible for applying accounting principles and procedures throughout the company’s accounting cycle.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Maintain payroll spreadsheets including monthly JE entries and accruals.
Prepare all misc invoices
Prepare and Enter Monthly Journal Entries
Preparation of Monthly Financial Statements
Calculate and Prepare Monthly Allocation entries
Bank Reconciliations
Back up Accounts Payable person
Preform Accounts Payable duties for Ohio Plant and certain suppliers as needed
Prepare ad-hoc reports for CFO
Competencies:
Problem solving skills.
Organizational skills.
Knowledge of Computer operations.
Excel Spreadsheets
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work at a desk for long periods of time.
Education/Experience required to do the job:
High School Diploma
4 yearAccounting Degree
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
