Job Summary
The Assistant Integrated Media Buyer is responsible for supporting the media buying team in the execution and coordination of TV, Radio, Cable, and Streaming tasks for all assigned markets and clients.
The Assistant Integrated Media Buyer is a media professional who prefers to work in an environment that embraces change. They must possess a strong ability to learn, operate, and make timely decisions in an ambiguous, fast-paced agency environment, be detail-oriented with solid organizational skills and multitasking abilities. They are a self-starter with a roll-up-sleeves mentality.
This is an entry level position with potential to grow within the media department.
Responsibilities

  • Pull invoice status reports across client list and work to resolve and clear any missing invoices
  • Work to resolve any TV, Cable, Radio, Streaming discrepancies which includes verifying traffic and ensuring delivery
  • Negotiate and input any makegoods, under delivery weight, and/or bonus weight as needed
  • Collect and compile added value recaps quarterly
  • Compile post buy analysis and campaign recaps on monthly basis for all assigned markets
  • Support media buyers and planners with various projects and needs
  • Assist media planners and accounting to resolve any billing issues to help with payment approval
  • Work in an integrated way with other disciplines, including brand management, planning and strategy
  • Provide backup front desk support as needed

  • Contribute to communication & sharing across all teams, building credibility among internal and external partners
  • Attend weekly staff meeting, contribute to communication & sharing with team
  • Train with Media Buyers and Supervisors to learn and further develop buying responsibilities
  • General Duties
  • Actively participate in media training and retain expert knowledge and understanding

  • Manage all projects on time and on budget
  • Adhere to all company policies and demonstrate a commitment to company values
  • Know and follow internal processes – able to teach others the processes and identify and lead opportunities to improve internal processes
  • Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize, plan and organize daily tasks. Must be comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment
  • Assist with other agency projects, as requested

Qualifications*

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong mathematical ability
  • High technical aptitude for learning and working within desktop and web-based buying applications (Microsoft Office, Advantage, Mediaocean & Prisma)
