Assisted Living Dining Room Server Job at Maple Pointe Assisted Living
Maple Pointe Assisted Living is hiring an energetic individual to help serve meals to our residents in our upscale fine dining room. Experience a plus, but not required.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Serves meals to assigned section.
* Offer Residents choices in meal selection based upon prescribed diet and personal preferences.
* Adheres to food protection principles.
* Takes attendance at meal and reports absences according to facility’s policy.
* Cleans vases, salt and pepper, change tablecloths if necessary, chairs and chair leg.
* Fills condiments, salt and pepper, sweet and low, etc.
* Follows scheduled cleaning assignments.
* Assist Residents to table, where needed; assist from table to living room.
* Observes Residents’ dietary intake; if someone is ill, report to the Wellness Center.
* Observes Residents’ clothing and makes sure he/she is appropriately dressed before entering the dining room. If not, report to the Wellness Center.
* Must be able to lift twenty-five (25) pound tray overhead.
* Cap or hair net to be worn while serving.
* Appropriate sanitary techniques must be utilized in food handling and serving.
* Follows established infection control guidelines.
* Maintains and protects the confidentiality of Resident information and the Residence.
* Performs any and all duties as assigned.
