The Associate Developer, Culinary Innovation, will be a key contributor to Krispy Kremes success by delivering on the Fresh Product Calendar creating awesome doughnut experiences for our customers. Role aligns with Brand Marketing and Insights to successfully develop LTOs from product briefs to launch, working closely with internal and external partners through Krispy Kremes IDEAL innovation process. This position reports to Director of Culinary Innovation.

HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Participates in all stages of the IDEAL process, from product briefing, bench top development, collection reviews through launch.
• Collaborates with team of developers creating global buzzworthy doughnuts, balancing customer wow and operational ease with omnichannel lens.
• Ensures products consistently meet marketing, financial, and operational goals.
• Works closely with the procurement team to source new ingredients and maintain vendor relationships. Responsible for creating and presenting ingredient sample briefs to suppliers.
• Accountable for maintaining accurate data in Product Vision for processing aids and formulations, along with ingredient specifications, testing evaluations and any other technical documentation and vendor communication that allow for consistent and reliable execution within IDEAL development process.
• Partners with Operations and Training on all materials required from training to launch.
• Stays current on all new food technologies and products, leveraging supply chain partnerships, vendors, and culinary experts, bringing creative new ideas to the team.

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

• Strong understanding of culinary principles required. Culinary or Pastry Degree preferred
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Passion for innovation in sweet treat category required
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Self-motivated with strong work ethic
• Ability to work effectively under tight timelines, troubleshoot and prioritize projects, in a high pressure and continuously evolving environment
