Job Purpose – What You Will Do
The Associate Director, Creative Services & Graphic Designer is an integral part of Healthier Generation’s Marketing & Communications team, working collaboratively towards the organization’s goal of building a strong and credible philanthropic brand.
The Associate Director, Creative Services & Graphic Designer develops and pitches creative concepts, as well as translates them into creative solutions. This position, alongside the Vice President, Brand and Communications, will refine the organization’s brand elements and guide the creative direction of communications campaigns and assets.
Core Responsibilities
Creative Services
Ensure that all the organization’s creative output/visuals are consistent with the overall brand
Lead creation and execution of multimedia projects – from storyboarding to promotional planning
Serve as lead and point person for external creative relationships including graphic designers, photographers, videographers as needed
Serve as creative strategy lead and thought partner on brand, marketing, communications projects
Draft creative promotional plans for organizational pieces produced alongside colleagues representing omnichannel marketing and communications
Graphic Designer
Conceptualize creative visuals (text and imagery) based on project requirements
Develop layout and production for materials including but not limited to public health resources, infographics, reports, banner ads, social media posts, website graphics, etc. that inspire and inform the communities Healthier Generation seeks to reach
Work collaboratively with content creators and project managers on creation and execution of visuals

Education and experience requirements for this role:
- Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field, or equivalent work experience of at least 5-7 years
- Experience supervising a team of both internal and external creative producers
- Compelling portfolio of relevant creative projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Talent in presenting information concisely and accurately, with keen attention to detail
- Fluency in PC and Mac design software (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, DaVinci Resolve, etc.)
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing production timelines and deadlines
- Stellar organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Sense of urgency and proactiveness
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Comfort working with executive leadership and subject matter experts
- Ability to integrate across multiple teams and levels of supervision, working collaboratively to ensure successful completion of tasks
- Ability to acquire understanding and absorb new information rapidly
Other Requirements
- Travel by car or plane up to 10% of the time, when appropriate.

Each job at Healthier Generation is assigned to a salary grade built on market data. For an individual coming into Healthier Generation, we set pay generally between the minimum and the midpoint of the salary grade and based on qualifications. For this position, the minimum is $68,642 and the midpoint is $82,370
