Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated entry level Associate Engineer who is looking for an exceptional opportunity to manage and grow their career at Transtech! This is an opportunity to become a key member of our highly qualified, collaborative, and motivated engineering team. We are seeking a team member with a minimum of 1 year of experience performing various public works and engineering tasks within and for municipalities. Public Works Departments in cities are responsible for planning, designing, constructing, operating, and maintaining the county's infrastructure: public roads, transportation systems, bridges, water, wastewater, drainage, and solid waste disposal systems.

Duties: Duties may include working with our other Associate Engineering team and Project Managers to deliver public works related projects inclusive of traffic engineering, technical report writing, field collection, field review, inspection, encroachment permit processing, plan checking, construction related tasks and other engineering and public works related assignments.

Position Qualifications & Requirements:

• Required: Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university in Civil Engineering
• Preferred: Engineering in Training (EIT) Certification is preferred but not required.
• Preferred: At least 1 year of related professional experience or more working with public works and municipalities

Location: Headquarters Office located in Chino, CA. This position will require driving and the selected candidate will be assigned to our main office in Chino as well as to various project sites within our client cities in Los Angeles County, Orange County, Riverside County and San Bernardino County.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
