The Role
Associate Product manager, Agent Sales Enablement, is a key member of the small and fast-moving Agent Experience team at Hippo. In this role, you will work in collaboration with engineering and business to lead the roadmap and building of tools and platforms for improving Sales Agent experiences. This role is critical to enable Hippo Agency Business unit vision of delivery highly effective internal Sales Agent platforms and tool to drive growth, agent efficiency and customer retention.
About You
You are an experienced Product Manager with a relentless customer focus. You thrive on the ambiguity, ownership of end-to-end feature launches, influencing cross-functional stakeholders, and driving data and metrics-driven business decisions. You do not hesitate to roll up your sleeves and get "work-done". You will be part of the internal platform product team working with engineers ensuring clarity of requested and deliverables meeting business needs. You demonstrate tenacity, resilience, and leadership enabling you to organize and lead projects, overcome challenges, and propose solutions.
What You'll Do:
- Help us build and scale our internal Sales Agents tool, platforms and systems which support our vision to grow and retain customer base.
- Work closely with the Sales, Agency and Sales Ops teams to translate business and product needs into technical product requirements, detailed user stories and definitions
- Design, build and ship critical Agent tooling and platform initiatives in partnership with engineering and technology teams (Engineering, SFDC admins etc.)
- Drive the roadmap for our internal platform tools related to Sales and Agency teams
- Balance your product's medium and long-term roadmap with its backlog of issues and bugs. Be an expert at prioritization
- Execute against plans with engineering, design, analytics by making trade-offs, anticipating staffing needs, risks, and ensuring frequent and clear communication
Must Haves:
- BA/BS degree in engineering or other relevant field
- 1 to 2 years of experience as a product manager, working in collaboration with engineering and business to drive significant cross-organizational projects for a Sales organization or an internal Sales Agency
- Good understanding of the Sales Agent platforms, Sales and Service processes at an Insurance, Financial services, or a fast growing tech startup etc.
- Ability to empathize with sales agents experiences and challenges and designing products that drive efficiency, internal user adoption and that rely heavily on creating new experiences that engage and retain users
- Comfort with rapidly changing business needs that is typical of a fast-growing company
- Able to quickly assess and understand complex systems, with high EQ ability to serve product ambassador to the rest of the organization.
