YOUR DAY AS AN AUTOMOTIVE UPHOLSTERER

As an Automotive Upholsterer, you have an important position at the head of our auto upholstery department. Your job is to establish best practices for our projects and ensure that our jobs are completed in a timely, high-quality way. Each day, you also tackle a variety of upholstery jobs yourself to ensure that our clients receive a beautifully renovated vehicle.

When you take on a new project, you first disassemble the seats, dash, interior door panels, carpet, and more. You then make patterns and perform the sewing necessary to create new furnishings that will fit exactly right. Fitment and assembly are the next steps, and you undertake them with skilled precision. Once you're done, you step back and admire the completed project. You know our clients will be over the moon with the job you've done, and you take great pride in making the old look as good as new!

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN AN AUTOMOTIVE UPHOLSTERER

• 5+ years of experience in upholstery
• 3+ years of experience with auto upholstery specifically

YOUR WORK SCHEDULE

This car restoration position works a 40-hour work week, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, with a 30-minute lunch. Overtime is optional and is compensated with time-and-a-half pay.
