TMGE LLC is a small business engaged in defense and federal contracting. We are seeking an AV/VTC Engineer that possesses design/build capabilities to support, design and implement multiple extensive hardware, cabling and software AV/VTC configuration suites. These suites are to be placed in new and existing facilities. A DoD Secret Security Clearance is required. The work will be performed in our offices in Virginia and in various government facilities. The requirement involves a broad skill range including an understanding and experience with design and installation of Audio/Visual & VTC Systems, commercial computer-aided design (CAD) and drafting software, construction knowledge to support outfitting and upgrading command level facilities. AV/VTC Engineer:

• Design AV/VTC systems.
• Develop AV/VTC plans on commercial computer-aided design (CAD) and drafting software.
• Engineering technical support, installation, configuration, test, and checkout of equipment.
• Conduct discussions with venders about product performance, configuration, operation and defects.
• Generate documentation to meet DOD requirements. Have the ability to support and generate documentation to meet the DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements
• Installing operating systems and basic device configurations
• Order and receive components for system construction.
• Cataloging and archiving software media included with equipment.
• Develop training and transition plans.
• PITCO and install systems.

Practical experience preferred:

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Cisco Certifications
• AMX and Crestron Certifications.
• Experience with Conference and Command Center buildout/refurbishment/remodeling
• Ability to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people in efforts to cooperate and achieve maximum efficiency.

Experience: 2 years with Bachelor’s degree; 5 years without

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math preferred.
