Responsibilities:

• Architect, implement and support EC2, S3, Autoscaling, CloudFront, CloudWatch, IAM security services as needed.
• Lead/Architect the administration of the development, test and production cloud hosted environments.
• Proactively assess infrastructure and address alerts that may arise.
• Provide issues/needs analysis and solution recommendation/implementation relative to system’s needs.
• Work directly with AWS support engineers to identify and resolve issues.
• Ensure system performance, uptime and support levels meet or exceed SLAs.
• Assist project team as needed with capacity planning and all AWS service and application deployments.
• Provide on-call support outside of normal scheduled business hours.
• Manage virtual and physical cloud resources as required with an overall objective of improving the scalability, reliability, performance, and availability of the cloud infrastructure.
• Develop a detailed understanding of application functionality and architecture.
• Interact with internal and external customers in a professional, articulate manner.

Required Skills:

• · Strong written and verbal communications skills.
• Supporting software configuration management activities including multiple continuous build environments, code repository administration, and code packaging and deployments to multiple development, QA and production environments.
• AWS IAM (Identity and Access Management).
• Cloud back up and restoration processes.
• Experience providing AWS best practices and optimization (Owning the AWS Infrastructure while collaborating with team providing suggestions for approval)
• Expert Knowledge of AWS Networking triage skills very important
• Expert knowledge of AWS Kubernetes EC2, S3 file storage, multiple VPCs and Disaster Recovery
• Excellent triage skills, extrapolating data and deciphering logging for isolating and fixing issues
• Cloudwatch setup and monitoring experience
• Experience with creating web service calls (WSC)
• Experience with JSCAPE (SFTP File sharing service) and big Plus!
• Experience with implementing low code application platforms onto AWS a plus (I.E Mendix, Dundas, etc.)

Education: Bachelor's degree
Experience: Minimum 5 years
