Under direct supervision the Bale Wagon Driver will be responsible for safely picking up packaged bales at CPF, and placing them in designated location within the bale yard.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

· Inspect bale wagon or squeeze lift in the beginning of each shift.

· Operate bale wagon in a safe and efficient manner at all times.

· Pick bales up at CPF and take to the bale yard.

· Pull bales out of bale yard as per pick list and drop off at docks. Operate a forklift or squeeze lift when needed. Repackage bales as needed.

· Keep work area clean.

· Work as a team with other employees.

· Report any malfunction of equipment or hazard to supervisor immediately.

Education and/or Experience

· Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Experience in driving and operating equipment.

· Must be observant, organized, and detail oriented.

· Must function well in a fast-paced environment.

· Desire and ability to learn.

· The employee is required to frequently walk, stand, and repetitively use hands including simple grasping. They are required to occasionally bend at the neck/waist, squat, climb, kneel, crawl, and twist at the neck/waist. The employee is also required to occasionally perform power grasping, push/pull with their arms as well as reach above/below their shoulders.

· Must be able to stand or sit the whole shift 12 hours.

· Must be able to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 75 pounds.

· Lift trash cans, rolls of bags, cotton bales approximately 75 lbs.
