Position Summary:

The Beit Medrash Mentor will assist students with with premarital education content on campus.

Position Responsibilities:

Form relationships - Individualized recruitment & meetings
  • Arrange personal meetings with registrants to best understand their social interests
  • Facilitating match suggestions
  • Follow up with YSLinks registrants from the S. Daniel Abraham alumni
  • Promote relationship building education materials
  • Document those who have had personal meetings, track activity and success
  • Brainstorming meetings (frequency to be determined upon launch)
  • Coach & mentor those who are building relationships
  • YUConnects will provide supervision and a listing of professional counselors should further intervention be necessary
  • Mashgichim and Rebbeim at YU
  • YUConnects staff
  • Young couple Ambassadors



Experience & Education Background:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Rabbinical ordination preferred
  • Familiarity with YU campus community
  • Familiarity with YU faculty

Salary Range:

$28.50-$28.50 hr
