Bicycle Mechanic/Sales Job at HB Cycles
In search of an experienced Bicycle Mechanic/Salesperson
We are a small bicycle shop in Huntington Beach, California and we are looking to add a full time member to our team!
We carry a wide variety of bike brands and styles including Specialized, Intense, Breezer, Electric Bike Company, and Teusday Cruisers.
The ideal candidate will be familiar with these brands and feel comfortable learning and sharing information with customers. All of our employees perform bike services as well as make sales, though we are not opposed to hiring an individual with a specific focus on service.
Job Requirements:
- Check in bikes for service, and be able to accurately diagnose necessary repairs/servicing
- Complete a wide range of bicycle service and repairs on a variety of bikes
- Greet customers and help them with any cycling needs
- Help customers find the right bike for their needs and make well informed recomendations to customers based on their needs
- Handle cash transactions and balance a cash register daily
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivelant
- Previous experience working as a bicycle mechanic
- Experience in sales is preferred
- Capable of creating a fun, laid back, and welcoming environment for customers
