The Biomedical Technician, under moderate supervision will: Repair, calibrate & maintain clinical equipment instrumentation systems of increased complexity used in healthcare delivery; Inspect, install and perform inventory assessments and preventative maintenance of clinical equipment; Diagnose and correct system and equipment malfunctions; Research and initiate orders for repair, parts, working with supervisor; Demonstrate ability to second source parts; Provide support both on-site and remotely to FRHS; Provide 24 hour on-call services in accordance with department policies; Respond expeditiously to calls from clinical department to evaluate and rectify valid operator complaints and concerns; Provide technical assistance and instruction to personnel regarding equipment operations and maintenance.

Associates degree in biomedical equipment technology or an equivalent combination of education, experience can be substituted. Certification(s) preferred in CBET, A+, etc.
