Description:

You are responsible not only for assisting in hardware support – but also ensuring the proper software (test plan established drivers/BIOS) have been installed on test systems, as well as work with the team to assist executing automated and or manual workloads on systems accordingly.

Hardware will also be setup for remote access leveraging KVM switches. Software and or files will also need management on our network storage. You will be responsible for ensuring that hardware remains functional on KVM, as well as ensuring that network based storage remains online and accessible to the team.

Job responsibilities may include but not limited to:

1. Capture workload test data on various platforms, as directed by the engineering team(s).

2. Build / Assemble / Modify various computing hardware platforms such as SDPs, RVPs, Mobile, and Desktop focused hardware.

3. Work with engineering team(s) to ensure the proper drivers/BIOS/workload versions are populated on test systems.

4. Ensure that test systems are connected on KVM for remote access as needed.

5. Tracking hardware logistics for SDPs/RVPs, Mobile, and Desktop hardware, manage and share inventory tracking status accordingly. 6. Helping track cadence of new incoming hardware.

Qualifications:

You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Engineer, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineer, or related.

AS degree ok but must have more exp.

Will consider a Recent grad if they have some experience in college.

2+ years’ experience in:

• PC Ecosystem Hardware Experience
• Engineering
• Programming, AI, content creation, and system troubleshooting.
• Handle all platforms, must be able to work with software development platforms and hardware; laptops, desktops.. etc.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with different types of consumer applications, content creation software, hardware, and technologies that affect their performance.
• MAC OS/Apple Hardware Domain Knowledge, handle all platforms, must be able to work with software development platforms. Problem solve work with unknowns.

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
