Position Details:

This is a full-time position, working Monday-Friday during standard business hours. Compensation will be based on the qualifications of applicant. This role will include travel 30%+.

Location:

This is a REMOTE opportunity in the United States. Candidate must reside in the US and be work authorized. We are unable to offer visa sponsorship.

Our corporate office is located in Chattanooga, TN.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Transcard is searching for a skilled Business Development Manager. Responsible for locating clients, prospective opportunities and promoting financial institution products and services as appropriate. The ideal candidate will understand existing and emerging technologies in financial services.

  • Source prospective opportunities in financial technology, payments and third-party processing and money services business domain
  • Make outbound calls, use networking platforms to build partnerships and expand customer base
  • Assist in product and service development to ensure high customer satisfaction
  • Remain current on financial trends and apply to future operations
  • Provide solutions to clients based on their business and technology needs
  • Participate in Bank Secrecy/Anti-Money Laundering training as required

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in financial services, financial technology and/or the payments processing industry.
  • Strong understanding of financial institution policies and procedures
  • Understanding of existing and evolving financial technology and payment methods
  • Good communication skills with a positive attitude and strong presentation skills
  • Proven ability to develop business through leads, cold calling, and other networking opportunities

Desired Qualifications:

  • Professional business development or sales experience in the payment or financial technology industry.

Education and/or Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience
