Position Description

This position is part of an overall strategic plan that will support system-wide data quality, access, transparency, and PI initiatives through robust data analysis, adherence to DQA standards, and the development of informational dashboards. Incumbents in this position are responsible for data collection, data entry, and manipulating/analyzing data from multiple sources to produce valid, integrated and actionable information for use by the Enterprise/Health System/Care Facilitation Department for public reporting, internal/external benchmarking and quality improvement objectives.

Position Requirements

Bachelor's Degree: Finance, Information Systems, Health Informatics, Computer Science, or related field and 1 year or more of experience in business intelligence and/or healthcare data management. Skills required: Excel/Access, Power Point, Tableau or Power BI, analytic software (e.g., SAS, SPSS, STATA). Demonstrated analytical ability with reporting to non-technical audience.

Preferred Requirements

Master's Degree in Health Informatics, Public Health, Biomedical Informatics, Business Administration. 5 years or more of experience in business intelligence, health informatics, clinical data analytics. SQL, database management experience. Medical terminology with significant clinical/healthcare analytic experience. A deep understanding of data preprocessing and DQA standards. Experience with Cerner EMR, 3M 360. CHDA.
