As part of the Business Transformation & Improvement (BTI) team, the Business Process Analyst plays a key role by applying Process Improvement best practices and principles to partner with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities and recommend solutions that enable CARFAX to operate more productively, improve the employee and customer experience, and help us reach our goals.

This role has an expectation of 3 days in office per week, with the possibility of change in the future based on business needs.

As a Business Transformation Analyst, you will:

• Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the business; cultivate trusted relationships
• Exhibit a spirit of curiosity; ask and encourage questions that ensure a shared understanding
• Define the scope, goals, and desired outcome of each engagement
• Discover and document processes, rules, and decision logic; develop as-is/to-be processes; gather and analyze data to create and confirm ideas
• Refine and maintain artifacts that clarify complexity
• Identify, develop, and propose improvement recommendations
• Act as a relative subject matter expert to transfer selected recommendations to owners and implementation teams

Your background:

• 5+ years of relevant experience in process improvement, preferably as internal consultant or with a commercial management consulting firm, BA credentials (PMI-PBA) are a nice to have
• Enthusiasm for driving improvement across business functions, technologies, and culture and an energetic, positive personality, with an ambitious, hands-on sense of ownership
• Strong investigative and analytical skills; ability to create structure that organizes and simplifies
• Strong planning and organization skills to contribute to multiple concurrent initiatives, balancing priorities
• Solid writing, verbal, and presentation skills; able to lead meetings and facilitate discussions of all size
• Base level understanding of technical proficiency with desktop and cloud-based applications and ideally familiarity with system design and architecture
• Preferred proficiency with Salesforce, Confluence, Jira, Slack, virtual whiteboarding and a proven ability to use Excel and PowerPoint are a must have
• Bonus points for a history of data analytics utilizing SQL, Tableau / Cognos
